Headline: Opening Day W vs Oconomowoc
Opening day was a success for the Frogs. We defeated the Oconomowoc Five 0's 12-4 behind a 9 run second inning. Carter Raabe led the squad with two hits. Donovan Brandl, Joe Cook, and Nick Brazelton all added hits to help drive in runs in the second inning.
Denver Hughes went 5 strong innings giving up 1 earned and striking out 7. Andrew Muffler followed with 2 strong innings of relief, and Hunter Martin closed the door with a scoreless inning.
Next Monday, Memorial Day, is the home opener as we take on Palmyra. Would love to get a good crowd down at Cory Park at noon!
